Gobi Manchurian

Ingredient:
Gobi - cut into florets
Besan flour-1/2 cup
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Onions-2
Garlic-3-4 fakes
Ginger
Corn flour-1Tsp6
Salt to taste
Soya sauce-2tbsp
Tomato sauce-2tbsp
Chilli sauce-1tsp
Oil to fry



Procedure:
  • Mix besan with red chilli powder, salt and little water.
  • Dip Gobi florets into the mix and deep fry. Keep them aside.
  • In a pan, heat oil and fry onions.
  • Add finely chopped ginger and garlic and fry for few mins.
  • Add salt sauté for a min.
  • Now add soya sauce, chilli sauce and tomato sauce, cook for a min.
  • Make a paste of corn flour with little water and add to the pan.
  • Cook for few mins and add fried gobis.
  • Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup

Methi Pulao

Ingredients:

Rice- 1 cup
Methi(fenugreek) leaves- 1 bunch
Garlic- 4 -5 fakes
Cashews- 5-6
Green chillies- 2-3
Salt
Mustard seeds
Oil

Proceedure:


  1. Wash methi properly and drain the water and keep aside.

  2. cook rice and spread over a plate to cool.

  3. Fry methi leaves with a spoon of oil.

  4. In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds.

  5. Now add garlic and Cashew nuts. Fry till they turn brown.

  6. Add the leaves and green chillies, fry for 2 mins.

  7. Add salt and half a spoon of turmeric powder.

  8. Now add rice and mix well.

  9. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Chocolate chips cookies

Ingredients:
Maida(allpurpose flour)-3/4 cup
Baking soda- 1 sp
Coco powder-1/2 cup
Butter- 60 gms
Sugar-1/2 cup
Chocolate chips-3/4 cup
vanilla essance- 1/2 sp
Milk- 1/2 cup
Salt

Proceedure:

  • Screen Maida, baking powder, salt & coco powder and mix well with butter.

  • Add sugar, essance and mix well.

  • Now add some chips with milk to the bowl.

  • Make small balls of the mixture and place on the baking tray.

  • Flatten the place into cookie shape and place some chips on them.

  • Bake it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 mins.

Capsicum masala

Ingredients:
Capsicum-2
Onions-2
Tamarind juice-1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder- 1/2 Tsp
cumin seeds- 1/2 Tsp
Jaggery
Oil- 2 T sps

Masala to grind:
coconut grated-1/2 cup
Garlic-3-4 cloves
Green chillies - 4
corinader leaves
Dalia- 1/4 cup
black Til-1/4 cup

Proceedure:
  • In a pan, heat 2 Tspn of oil, add cumin seeds.

  • When they change colour add onion and capsicum, sauté till light brown.

  • Add tamarind juice and cook for 2 mins.

  • Meantime, grind all the ingredients for masala.

  • Now, add jaggery, haldi and ground masala.

  • Cokk for 5 mins.

  • Serve hot with Rothi os chapathi.
